Highly restricted on size and quantity of long items that can be carried with the fixed bulkhead and small hatch. Operating instructions only being available online is really hard to use and information difficult to find.

The Ford Transit Connect boasts a redesigned steel bulkhead, enhancing the usable cargo area by roughly 50 litres. It offers a maximum load width exceeding 1.5 metres at the floor level and a load height of over 1.2 metres from floor to roof. This provides sufficient space to accommodate two Euro-pallets or four standard 8’ x 4’ boards.
The Transit Connect L1 model can transport items up to 3.0 metres in length, courtesy of the innovative Load-through bulkhead. The L2 model takes it a step further, accommodating items as long as 3.4 metres. The Load-through bulkhead is available as an optional feature on all van models.
