Nationwide Vehicle Contracts Limited is a credit broker, not a lender, and we provide motor vehicle finance brokerage services to customers via third-party finance providers on business and personal contract hire agreements. As a regulated credit broker, we will introduce you to Lex Autolease who may be able to help you finance your vehicle and provide other products/services. All the products we offer are optional. We may receive a commission or other benefits from Lex Autolease should you decide to enter into an agreement with them as a result of our introduction or from another credit broker to whom we refer you should we be unable to arrange funding for you. If you would like more information regarding the disclosure of commissions, please speak to your Sales Adviser. Nationwide Vehicle Contracts Limited is an insurance intermediary. We will advise and make recommendations for you after we have assessed your needs for Contract Hire and Lease GAP, Tyre and Alloy Wheel Insurance, SMART Repair Insurance and/or Warranty and Assistance products. We do not charge fees for our insurance related services, nor do we receive any additional commissions from the insurer over and above our published list price for each given product.
Your Used Car Leasing Quotation
Please check your quotation carefully to ensure you are happy with the product, the price summary and our fees. Please note, for used car leasing agreements, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts only offer Contract Hire and Personal Contract Hire agreements which are hire agreements, not purchase agreements. Upon acceptance of the quotation, this order is confirmed and accepted by Lex Autolease. A master contract hire agreement between the parties will be generated, and this order form will be defined as the "Schedule”. An explanation of the different elements of your quotation is included below:
Vehicle: The make, model, engine and variant of your vehicle. Please check you can obtain and afford the cost of insurance for the vehicle prior to accepting the order. If any issues or defects or otherwise arise following the safety check of the vehicle, Lex Autolease reserves the right to cancel and/or substitute the vehicle.
The vehicle specification displayed on our website is supplied by a third party known as CAP. Whilst every effort is made to ensure this information is accurate, it should only be used as a guide, and may not reflect features that the manufacturer may have changed during the model year. No decision should be made to lease a specific vehicle without verification. Please check your order carefully to ensure it suits your exact requirements and if you wish to check or verify the exact specification of a particular vehicle, please check the photo suite of the actual vehicle allocated or speak to your sales consultant. All images on the website are for illustration purposes only.
Fuel Type: Please be aware that vehicle fuel consumption and electric vehicle range data which may vary based on your driving style, added vehicle options, road, and weather conditions.
Term: The term relates to the minimum duration of your contract. This is typically 24 or 36 months. Additional charges may apply if you terminate the contract early.
Annual Mileage: The annual mileage of the contract. This represents the amount of miles you (the driver) intends to travel yearly.
Registered Date: The registration date details for the vehicle. All our used cars are no more than five years old, with a maximum 50,000 miles.
Initial Rental: An advanced rental of usually equivalent to 1 monthly rental payable to finance company usually within 7 to 14 days of delivery. This amount forms part for the hire agreement and is non-refundable.
Processing Fee: The processing fee is the broker fee charged by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts for our service and represents the costs incurred for arranging the sale, ordering the vehicle, arranging the finance and organising delivery of the vehicle. This processing fee is payable by debit or credit card or by BACs payment.
Monthly Rentals: The fixed monthly amount to be paid to the finance provider. Personal contract hire agreements include VAT at 20%.
Maintenance: The maintenance package includes manufacturer recommended servicing and excludes misuse, accident damage and vehicle glass.
Total Rental: The total cost per month including the finance rental and any other optional extras (excluding minor damage insurance, GAP and/or home EV charger).
Excess Mileage: Any mileage over the agreed contract is charged at the excess mileage rate. This represents the cost charged in pence per mile. Please ensure you select mileage appropriate to your needs as some funders may not allow you to amend this at a later stage. Please note, some finance providers charge a higher rate of excess mileage fee for mileage above 115% of the annual agreed figure. If this is applicable, this will be stated in your finance documentation.
Road Tax: All of our used vehicles come with Vehicle Excise Duty (VED), also known as road tax, for the duration of the contract. During the term of your agreement and any extended term, the finance provider will arrange for the provision of the vehicle excise duty (VED) and include this in the cost of your agreement. Please note, if the Government increases the cost of the VED during the term of your agreement, or any extended term, you will be liable to pay the amount of any increase.
Roadside Assistance: The roadside assistance cover as offered. In the event that the roadside assistance expires within the contract hire period, you will be liable for any breakdown costs, unless a breakdown policy is purchased. Please make sure to check your vehicle breakdown cover regularly throughout the lease period to ensure you are covered in the event of a breakdown.
Home EV Charge Point: If you have selected a Home EV Charge Point, we will email you with details on how to purchase directly from Pod Point. The price of the EV home charger is not included in your monthly rental and will need to be paid for separately, directly with Pod Point.
SMART, SMART Plus and Tyre and Alloy Insurance: If you have selected SMART, SMART Plus or Tyre and Alloy Insurance, we will be in touch to discuss suitability and eligibility. Please note, the price of this product is not included in your monthly rental and must be purchased and paid for separately by debit/credit card or over 10 interest-free monthly direct debit payments. For further information or to purchase this product, please call our Minor Damage Insurance team on 0161 300 7437 once you have a confirmed delivery date for your vehicle.
Pricing: Please note that whilst Nationwide Vehicle Contracts makes every effort to ensure that all "quoted" prices are maintained up until an "order" is confirmed, rentals are subject to change at any time by the funder and we reserve the right to pass on any price changes which may affect the rental originally quoted. In the unlikely event of a change to the rental, we will contact you by email or telephone to confirm if you wish to proceed with your order or to provide you with possible alternatives. If the alternative is not acceptable to you, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts will cancel your order without penalty and refund any processing fees paid.
Delivery: Nationwide Vehicle Contracts will deliver your new lease vehicle direct to your doorstep, provided your address is situated on the GB mainland. Currently, we are unable to offer delivery to customers living in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight (IOW) and the Scottish Islands. It may be possible for the customer to meet the delivery agent for handover at the nearest port. For all port handovers customers must present in person and present the required IDs. The vehicle also must be insured from the point of handover.
Your vehicle will be delivered in a driven condition to the specified address, provided your address is situated on the GB mainland. Your vehicle will have delivery mileage according to where it is transported from. If this is the case, please be assured that this mileage will not be counted towards the mileage allowance shown in your agreement.
Please note, quoted delivery "lead times" represent our “best estimate” based on information provided by our brand supplier. Whilst we endeavour to ensure that delivery dates are as accurate as possible, delivery dates are subject to change by the manufacturer or supplier and on occasion delays do occur due to production issues. Nationwide Vehicle Contracts Ltd will keep you informed of any known changes to your vehicle’s delivery date to allow you to make any necessary arrangements as a consequence.
Please note, once the vehicle has landed with the supplier, customers must be willing to take delivery. Failure to do so may result in the vehicle being taken by the retail division or sold to another customer. We encourage all customers to carefully review our delivery terms and conditions and to keep in mind that quoted delivery lead times are subject to change by the manufacturer.
Returning Your Vehicle: At the end of your agreement, the vehicle must be returned to the finance company and will be inspected for any damage that falls outside what is deemed ‘fair wear and tear’. You can find out more about how fair wear and tear guidelines work in our Fair Wear and Tear Guide.
Missed Payments: If you miss a payment, additional interest and fees may be charged and this may also impact your credit file. Late payments can also result in termination of the contract with all remaining rental payments due.
Cancellation Rights: If you wish to cancel your order with us, please follow the instructions in our Your Cancellation Rights guide. For consumers entitled to a refund, this will be issued within 28 working days from the day we which receive the cancellation notification.
