Information Notice

As required by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), we are providing to you important information relating to our status, the administration fee we charge and our cancellation charges.

Nationwide Vehicle Contracts Limited is a credit broker, not a lender.

We charge a processing fee of £300, including VAT, for our brokering services. This represents the costs incurred in ordering your vehicle with our nominated supplying dealer. This fee is payable by debit or credit card or by BACs payment and is taken once finance approval has been received.

We may also charge a fee for cancellation of our brokering services as set out in our Terms and Conditions. This does not affect your right to cancel your finance agreement within any cooling-off period.

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, regulated customers have the right to cancel without penalty within 14 calendar days from the day place your order online or “accept” our quotation via email. For orders cancelled after 14 calendar days, the following cancellation fees will apply:

• If you cancel your order before you sign your Contract Hire or Personal Contract Hire agreement, a cancellation fee of £150 including VAT will be retained by Nationwide Vehicle Contracts to cover all costs and expenses incurred in arranging the credit hire agreement up to that point. This fee will be deducted from the £300 including VAT processing fee (otherwise known as the brokerage fee) paid at point of order. 
• If you cancel your credit hire agreement after you have signed your Contract Hire or Personal Contract Hire agreement, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts will retain the full processing fee of £300, including VAT (otherwise known as the brokerage fee) to cover all costs and expenses incurred in arranging the credit hire agreement.

By signing the order form, you are confirming that you understand and agree to the terms of this information notice. Please note, any undue delays in receiving the order confirmation may impact on the finance rental rates quoted.
