Vehicle is great, just the problems at the start when we took delivery of the vehicle with faulty brakes, this is gap in your processes were if the vehicle has been stored for a considerable amount of time and the brake discs are red with corrosion then the dealer dosent cover it under warranty as it's a lex problem and the dealer wanting to charge me nearly 1000 pounds to replace the brakes. Also one other thing the vehicle was delivered late to me against promised delivery date which was also annoying when I was told it had been sitting at dock side for 2 months hence the brake problems. Hope this helps you for the future. Thanks stu

Great, practical car. A little heavy on the petrol but great to drive! Hassle free lease.

The Tiguan is good all round vehicle, the 1.4TSI engine is a fine motor if not thirsty when worked hard. The ride is very neutral possibly firm for many and does everything competently but it is not exciting. The 4 motion and DSG are well mated, I would prefer more low down torque without burying the right foot. No build quality issues compared to Nissan Qashqai that we owned previously, perhaps the new 1.5 engine compensates for the low end torque but unlikely.

Boot space is a little limited. Having an arm rest in the front would really improve driving comfort.

The SEL has an amazing technology kit, adaptive cruise control, adaptive lighting, virtual cockpit, Android auto, Apple car play, etc. Will probably go for the 4 wheel drive version next time as it would have been handy a few times this winter when having to park on muddy fields.

Great all round practicality, better than expected economy. Great to look at and comfortable to drive. Only disappointment is an underpowered engine for the size of the car.
