It makes for a stress free drive. It gives very good mpg and has topped 73mpg on a motorway trip. The electronics are good but I keep experiencing irrelevant glitches.

The Skoda Octavia lease car has a range of petrol and diesel engines. The entry-level engine is a 1.5-litre petrol engine that returns either 116PS or 150PS and is also available with mild-hybrid technology.
The range-topping engine is a 2.0-litre diesel engine that’s available with the same power outputs. If you’re after good fuel economy, both the diesel engines return around 60mpg.
The Skoda Octavia is available with a mild-hybrid powertrain labelled the 1.5 TSI e-TEC. Energy recovered during braking is stored in a lithium-ion battery, which supports the internal combustion engine.
This is used to either boost the engine when required or allow the Octavia to coast with the engine completely switched off!
