Bumpy ride, poor suspension, noisy transmission, can't set the start stop to off without pressing the button every time blustery the car. The start stop on this car is rubbish, far too sensitive.

The car is comfortable and easy to drive. Have a little problem with the technology but that may be my inability to get to grips with it. Very happy with the Arona

This small SUV. is ideal if you don't require a larger more expensive vehicle, I particularly like the sat. nav. and the in car radio and computerised information system. One small niggle is the the rear door lock that occasionally does not engage fully, this may be just a matter of adjustment which I shall have done at upcoming 12 months service.

The only thing I can fault and this is probably my fault is the seating in the vehicle is not high enough.

Excellent performance from a 999cc petrol engine combined with 7-speed DSG gearbox. Plenty of leg and headroom for 4 adults - a bit tight for 3 adults in the back. The stop-start can be irritating, sometimes cutting the engine just as you want to turn at a junction. Good boot size.

It's very comfortable for long as well as short journeys. Its handling is responsive and precise.

I am very pleased with the performance of the car. My regular annual mileage is around 8000 miles, though this year with the COVID restrictions I did just less than 7000 miles. The majority of my journeys are inner city with only occasional longer journeys for holidays and visiting family. I keep records of my petrol purchases and mileage and have seen a marked increase in miles travelled for the same volume of petrol purchased. When I first got the vehicle I was getting around mid 30 miles per gallon. After six months or so the performance rate gradually and noticeably and now regularly get in excess of 40 miles per gallon. At the present time the car has an on- going average of 38.77 miles per gallon. Although the car has a one litre engine I believe it performs very well at all speeds and feels comfortable on motorway journeys.
