The MG ZS EV that I’ve had for a year now has exceeded my expectation. I charge it overnight at home using a cheap nighttime tariff which makes it extremely economical to run. So far the build quality is good, the ride is good, performance is excellent in fact I like it a lot.

Far too much money for the brand. Tech is good but far below par for the value of the lease. NVC used to be the cheapest in the market and this is the second vehicle I’ve had but may not return if prices keep rising astronomically for mid range vehicles. Just not worth it.

Dislike lack of heated steering wheel. But the rest of the equipment and tech is good with proper buttons for climate control. Insurance notably more expensive than my old petrol car. I wouldn't get it again because I expect that technology will have moved on considerably in the next three years.

The car drives very nicely but the interior finish is a little cheap, and there are a number of really annoying bugs - software and hardware not working properly. Overall good VFM but a slightly basic and disappointing experience.

Overall I think the car is very good value. After driving a hatchback Seat Leon, the MG is a more “floaty” drive. That said, it goes where you point it. It is spacious, comfortable and easy to drive. A pleasant experience, as opposed to an exciting experience. Lots of tech included which would probably cost many thousands more in a European car; or a Tesla.

Niggling faults with downloads causing warning lights to come on without need. Range varies considerably between charges.

The vehicle is better than expected, first time with an electric car and not disappointed, Will definitely stay with electric in future.
