I get the concept that you don't by an SUV for its handling but this thing handles like a dog and makes a really disconcerting juddering noise when turning full lock at low speed i.e. parking. I took it to the garage as I thought something was damaged but apparently its normal. Straight line it is smooth, quiet and faultless, chuck it into a corner and it understeers like a cruise liner. It has about the right amount of power for vehicle size (207 bhp for the GLC250) and delivers a genuine 43mpg. I rate the interior and functions inside the cabin above the competition but would place it last in terms of handling and that awful juddering noise. Stick with the Q5 or X3 for handling, but GLC for interior features and if its your thing, economy. Overall 3/5

I have no negative points about the car. You get everything you would expect from a Mercedes.

Load space could be bigger for the size of the vehicle, lease costs are high but probably due to the number of miles I do. Only reason I wouldn't lease this vehicle again is due to the fact that I never get the same car twice in succession.

The vehicle design and all wheel drive capability works well for my use due to the roads I travel on a daily basis.

The suspension is awful, going over speedbumps is a nightmare. The MPG is terrible. The in-vehicle technology is particularly poor (settings do not save after restart, layout and navigation is overly complicated, its easier to get your phone out than read a text message on the screen). The gearbox is forever changing gear, i assume to enhance MPG but it clearly doesnt work, then when you do put your foot down it doesnt like to down shift.
