Compared to the Kia Sorrento, it cost a lot more to get half of the mod-cons. The instruments are three different approaches stuck together, replacing touch-screen with a touch pad - all very much a muddle. Missing Apple Car Play. The windscreen is made of 'softer glass' (fitter's description) in order to allow for the distance control features - this means it chips very easily. Two chips, two windscreen replacements in a single month. The split seat feature is interesting, but leaves my butt sore on a long drive. However, the adaptive cruise control and intelligent lighting systems are priceless. Extremely appreciative of being able to get faux-Leather (supports my vegan credentials) - something you simply cannot get on other cars. Cabin height is much better than the Sorrento. And for all of its misgivings is a nice drive. Whilst I would probably get a Mercedes again, it may not be this model - unless it gets a major refresh.

Comfortable vehicle looks good and drives well but a little disappointed it did not come with some of the features I thought it would have from pictures shown, these were as it turned out additional features which would have pushed the price of the car up, but otherwise not a bad car at all.

Look great, is very comfortable and a great cruiser. Not the sportiest Drive but this is a 4 x 4, not a sports car.

In built Computor very difficult to understand. Very irritating that radio always comes on when engine started and has to be turned off. Mileage with full tank less than I imagined. Far less than the Tiguan we owned before

The GLC is not very nice to drive, expensive to run and insure and makes grinding noises when i turn corners. I will be contacting nationwide to discuss this as i am not happy at all

Boot space not big enough and not enough leg room in the back of the vehicle. Would consider the GLE next time.
