There isn’t a difference between a convertible and a cabriolet. The term "convertible" is commonly used in North America, while "cabriolet" is more commonly used in Europe. They both refer to the same type of car, which has a folding or removable roof and provides the same fundamental experience of open-top motoring, allowing drivers and passengers to enjoy the sensation of wind and sun while driving.

Prices to lease a convertible car range from £240 per month up to £1,700 per month. There is such a big price range because premium convertible cars feature some of the latest technology and most powerful engines.

Convertible cars typically come with higher insurance premiums due to several factors. First, convertible cars tend to be flashier and more expensive, and as a result, increase the risk of theft.

Also, because of the complicated mechanics involved with a convertible roof, it costs more to repair, which leads to higher insurance costs.
