The new BMW iX is a large electric SUV that's one of the most luxurious options in BMW's SUV range. Quick, quiet, and tech-laden, the iX is perfect for a premium family lease car.
The iX is available with three electric powertrains: the xDrive 40, xDrive 50, and M60. The latter unleashes 619hp and accelerates from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds.
As standard, the iX comes with a range of up to 382 miles, a pair of HD display screens on the dashboard, and a hexagonal steering wheel.

Complete Care Terms and Conditions
Complete Care is available to drivers aged between 21-70 with no more than 2 “at fault” claims in the last 2 years and no more than 6 points on driving licence. The driver must not have been subject to a driving ban in the last 5 years and must have held a full UK/EU licence for at least one 1 year. High value electric vehicles are available to drivers aged between 25-70 with no “at fault” claims in the last 2 years and no points on driving licence. The driver must not have been subject to a driving ban and must have held a full UK/EU licence valid for at least 5 years. Prices are based on the postcode of the customer. 72% of our customers would qualify for the advertised price however a confirmed rate will be sent in writing upon request.
In the event of an incident resulting in damage, loss or theft to the vehicle, the customer will be required to pay an excess known as a Customer Incident Charge (CIC) if they are found to be “at fault”. The CIC varies depending on the number of “at fault” incidents for the vehicle and is an escalating charge as follows:
- First incident is £250
- Second incident £350
- Third and subsequent incidents £750
For high value electric vehicles, the CIC is £1000 for the Tesla Model 3 & Y, Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT and £2000 for the Tesla Model S & X and Mercedes-Benz EQS.
If a repair is lower than the CIC, then the customer will only be charged for the loss, also known as a Customer Elected Payment (CEP).

How much does the BMW iX cost?
Monthly lease prices for the new BMW iX start from £735.20 per month with Nationwide Vehicle Contracts.
OTR prices for the BMW iX start from £70,080.00. The OTR price typically includes one year's road fund license, DVLA first registration fee and number plate fee. Prices are subject to change. Always check with your nearest retailer.

Is the BMW iX an electric car?
Yes, the BMW is a full-electric car. Built on a bespoke EV platform, it uses BMW's fifth-generation eDrive electric motors to power the vehicle. It is available in two versions: the BMW iX xDrive40 battery and the BMW iX xDrive50.
The BMW iX xDrive40 comes with a 71kWh battery for 322bhp and a 257-mile range. The BMW iX xDrive50 comes with a larger 105.2kWh battery for 516bhp and a 380-mile range.

How many seats does the BMW iX have?
The BMW iX comes with five seats as standard. A seven-seat option is not available currently.
If you are interested in a seven-seat BMW, the BMW X5 or BMW X7 are worth considering. A wide range of seven-seater cars is also available with other manufacturers, including the Volvo XC90, Audi Q7 and Land Rover Discovery.
What is the difference between the BMW iX and iX3?
While the BMW iX and iX3 are both battery-electric SUVs, they are significantly different in size and style.
Sitting between the X5 and the X6 in physical size, the BMW iX is bigger than the iX3. The BMW iX is described as a large SUV, while the iX3 is described as a mid-size SUV similar to the smaller X3.
The BMW iX and iX3 also differ in their style. The iX has been designed from the ground up as an EV, whereas the iX3 was modified from the existing X3 chassis.
The iX boasts a unique style, unlike any other vehicle in the BMW range, whereas the iX3 is a mix between BMW's 'i' design and the X3 on which it is based.
