The car is only 1 year and has rattling on the dashboard which can be very annoying but apart from that it is a lovely car.

Great driving position, good engine, fun to drive, reasonable boot space. Limited rear seat headroom, handbook includes too many model options - difficult to find what you are looking for

The xdrive makes this relatively safe to drive aggressively in wet or dry with confidence you're not about to kill yourself or anyone else. Great balance between a daily and fun weekender. A grown up hot hatch.

Awesome hatchback - great performance, very comfortable (even with sports suspension and low pro tyres), full of kit. Only slight issues are you only get low 30s mpg (and less than that if you use its 260 bhp!). You can use eco mode to save some fuel but it is terrible when at a junction - I think you’d get a quicker response from the engine when pulling away if you sent a carrier pigeon! Fortunately you can mitigate this quickly by putting the gearbox in sport mode, by knocking the gearstick sideways then putting it back to normal once you’re moving again.
