When you think about leasing a van, the first things that come to mind are practicality and reliability. You'll be able to get pretty much whatever you want from A to B.
However, what if you could still have all that and add a bit of speed into the mix?
So, whether you're making deliveries or simply want a van that can keep up with fast-moving traffic, there are plenty of fast vans on the market.
In this blog, we discuss:
The ID.Buzz Cargo is the embodiment of a new generation of vans. A bespoke electric van that's fitted with a 204hp electric motor, it goes from 0 to 62mph in around 10 seconds and tops out at 90mph.
That might not seem too fast but don't worry. Volkswagen is adding a 4x4 powertrain to the ID.Buzz Cargo that packs a whopping 335hp and gets to 62mph in just over six seconds! Now that's an extremely fast van!
As well as being fast, the ID.Buzz Cargo is practical. It comes with a load volume of 3.9m3, a payload of up to 607kg, and an electric range of up to 256 miles.
The Volkswagen Transporter is a bit of a classic in the business world, but it's also pretty good for pleasure. Opt for the Sportline version, which comes with a 2.0-litre 204hp diesel engine, and you'll go from 0 to 62mph in just 9.1 seconds!
The Sportline version also looks absolutely fantastic. It comes with exclusive body styling including a front bumper, sports alloy wheels, and a one-of-a-kind spoiler!
The Transporter makes a serious claim for the fastest and most practical van on the market.
Since its inception, the Ford Transit Custom has been a leader in the van market. With its 170hp engine, it can shoot from 0 to 62mph in around 11 seconds.
However, the fun doesn't stop there. There's also an MS-RT sports van with an electric powertrain that returns 285h. Unfortunately, no official 0 to 62mph has been revealed yet, so you'll have to try it yourself!
Although rapid and nippy, the Transit Custom doesn't sacrifice practicality. There's up to 6.8m3 of load volume and a max gross payload of 1,327kg.
The Vauxhall Vivaro is a van built for businesses needing a balance of practicality and performance. Its 180hp engine gets you from 0 to 62mph in 10 seconds, making it one of the most competitive vans on the market.
You'll also get up to 6.6m3 of load volume, perfect for transporting goods without sacrificing speed.
When looking for a van, you don't have to settle for slow. These four vans offer the best of both worlds: practicality for your business and speed to make your time more efficient. At the end of the day, time is money!
With impressive 0 to 62mph times and very good storage capabilities, these vans can help your business get the job done quickly and comfortably.
