We’re proud to announce that our very own Charles Campbell, Pricing Manager at Nationwide Vehicle Contracts, was Highly Commended in the Rising Star of the Year category at the 2025 Broker News Awards.
Held on 3 April at London’s iconic Orrery restaurant, the Broker News Awards celebrate excellence across the leasing broker industry. Open to BVRLA-accredited brokers and suppliers, the awards shine a spotlight on the individuals and organisations driving the sector forward.
This year’s Rising Star category recognised future leaders who are making a real impact and shaping the future of the leasing industry.
Charles joined Nationwide Vehicle Contracts as a graduate in our Pricing team and quickly distinguished himself with a sharp analytical mind and a keen eye for market trends. His ability to turn complex data into actionable insights, adapt to shifting market dynamics, and think strategically earned him a well-deserved promotion to Pricing Manager.
Since stepping into this role, Charles has been pivotal in refining our pricing strategy, enhancing efficiency, and delivering measurable commercial growth. Over the past 12 months, he’s played a leading role in the successful expansion of our used car leasing scheme, major milestone for the business. His deep market knowledge and ability to forge strong supplier relationships have been instrumental in onboarding two new funders, giving our customers more choice and increasing our market competitiveness.
While Charles didn’t take home the top prize, the judges were clearly impressed, awarding him Highly Commended in a competitive category.

The Rising Star category was judged by Russell Hayes, Fleet Writer and Motoring Author, as part of a panel of independent industry experts chaired by Paul Parkinson. The award was presented by Vince Pemberton of Rivervale Maxus, proud sponsor of the Rising Star category.
The 2025 Broker News Awards offered a fantastic opportunity for the industry to come together and celebrate achievement, innovation and collaboration. The afternoon event, supported by headline partner BYD, began with terrace drinks courtesy of Arval UK, followed by a delicious three-course lunch sponsored by Automotus. The celebration continued into the evening, with post-event drinks hosted at The Prince Regent pub, sponsored by Fleet Procure.
