Like many people, I can't wait to see Marvel's The Avengers.
Who wouldn't want to see a film in which Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Thor share screen time?
It details the adventures of S.H.I.E.L.D – Marvel's elite peacekeeping agency.
And, how about that – S.H.I.E.L.D all drive Hondas!
Specifically, they favour various variants of the luxury Acura – including the MDX, the ZDX and the TK.
Indeed, Honda undertook a complete overhaul of the 2013 RDX model specifically for an onscreen cameo – alongside a convertible Acura sports car, which I'm sure will eventually cause no small number of bidding wars should it ever hit the auctions.
Says Acura's Brand Manager, Susie Rossick: "Acura is developing an impressive second chapter as the official vehicle of the cutting-edge S.H.I.E.L.D. organisation, enabling us to reinforce Acura's brand philosophy of innovation and advancement, and leverage excitement for the new ILX, RDX and NSX supercar concept product news announced earlier this year.”
Indeed, this isn't the first time a Marvel superhero has chosen to drive a Honda Acura. The model also made an appearance in Thor, Marvel's 2011 epic. And Thor makes an appearance in The Avengers! Everything's connected.

Yes, through testing various bits of Avengers-style technology (mounted to the hub of Honda Acura vehicles) you can rise through the ranks of S.H.I.E.L.D for the chance of winning various prizes: cinema tickets, a branded tactical torch, a replica Acura convertible sports car (yes!) and a virtual keyboard.
These tests take place within four combat simulation environments – each corresponding with the four main characters from the film: Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and Thor.
