Nationwide Vehicle Contracts delves into the speculation surrounding the cars that could feature in GTA VI.
Grand Theft Auto VI is potentially the most anticipated video game release of all time, and after the trailer release on Tuesday, excitement levels have been taken to a whole new level.
The trailer announced the game will be set in Miami, will feature a female protagonist for the first time, and will be available to play in 2025.
It also teased us about the cars that will be available in the game, so as your car experts, we thought we’d delve into the cars that could be featured in GTA VI. Check it out below.
Cars Seen in the Trailer
As always with Rockstar, the trailer didn’t reveal many details about the game, but what we did get was a sneak peek into some of the cars.
Spotted were some absolute classics from the franchise, such as the Comet (based on the Porsche 911) and the Cheetah (based on the Ferrari Testarossa). We also saw some cars from GTA V, including the Grotti Carbonizzare and Invetero Coquette.
Around the 27-second mark, we see a range of cars that have been heavily customised, including a Chevrolet Malibu, which was called the Declasse Tulip M-100 in GTA V.
The final car shot features another classic from GTA V, the Sabre Turbo, which is based on a Buick GSX and Oldsmobile 442.
Here’s a list of every car we could identify in the trailer:
- Gauntlet Hellfire
- Banshee
- Cheetah
- Comet
- Carbonizzare
- Coquette
- Sabre Turbo
- Oceanic
- Phoenix
- Obey Tailgater
- Liberator
We also saw the classic Sanchez dirt bike.
Cars We’d Like to See
It’s fair to say that the automotive industry has come a long way since GTA V was released in 2013. While Rockstar updated the game frequently with new cars, GTA VI provides an opportunity for loads of new cars added to the franchise.
Here are a few we’d love to see in GTA VI:
- Tesla Cybertruck - Do I even have to explain this? The Cybertruck is one of the most unique cars on the market and has taken fans by storm. It’s massive, bulletproof, and features loads of technology. It belongs in GTA VI.
- Mercedes EQG - The EQG is an all-electric version of the G-Class and comes with a new exterior design. Keeping up with the trend of EVs in the automotive industry, we’d love to see this model in GTA VI.
- MINI Cooper - Although possibly the most British car ever made, we’d love to see the classic MINI Cooper in GTA VI. Think about how fun it would be to cruise around Vice City in a MINI like a true sophisticated Brit.
- Aston Martin Vanquish - The new Vanquish arrived in 2023, and we’d love to race it in GTA VI. Blending British sophistication with frightening performance, we think it would be perfect for the streets of Vice City.
