As we come towards the end of 2014, it’s the sort of time that various websites and magazines start bringing out their ‘Best of’ lists and revealing their awards for the year. (Some even start 2015 early!) And with their ‘celebration’ of cars that “have struck a chord with UK car buyers, and that have been most roundly praised by the UK’s leading motoring experts.”
carwow.co.uk allows visitors to its site to compare offers from dealerships for brand-new cars, complete with impartial aggregated reviews for all cars on sale in the UK and some easy-to-understand buying advice, and their award are compiled by looking at the ‘wowscore’ from the reviews combined with the opinions of the site’s team of motoring experts.
James Hind, founder and CEO of carwow.co.uk said: “Every car on the shortlist has brought something exceptional to the UK car market. These awards really celebrate the fact that car buyers in this country have never had a better choice, no matter what their budget or needs. carwow exists to help anyone purchasing or researching a new car to have the best experience possible – after all, having great cars is nothing without the customer satisfaction to back it up.”
The winners will be announced at the start of December - even as early as next week, award-pickers – but who has made it to the shortlist for the awards in a year when affordable models got lots of high-end levels of fit and finish, engines got even more economical and more fun at the same time, and designs became, well, challenging?
